Trese Brothers Games Quietly Announce Templar Assault 2

In an update to their Star Traders 2 RPG Kickstarter, Trese Brothers Games have revealed that their next game will be Templar Assault 2.

As a studio, we have always lined up our projects so that we have one game in development while another is in design. Templar Assault 2 was being designed as we did development for Star Traders 4X Empires, just as we designed 4X Empires while we built Heroes of Steel.

As a part of the larger Star Traders Universe, Templar Assault 2 will see you commanding a team of Templars as they take on the xeno threat. Customisable and upgradable, each Templar Knight can be tailored to your needs within your small army, through their loadouts and specialisations.

This won't take place as a direct sequel to Templar Assault. In a new storyline it will see your squad assigned to defend a remote waystation along the route of the exodus being undertaken by the Star Traders, to escape the xenos.

Of course there will be intrigue and a larger threat - but they've barely announced the game, you can't expect them to give away the plot!
