Total War: Warhammer Getting Bretons and New Edition
With so many digital-only releases of games happening these days, it's unusual (and many would say refreshing) to see a physical only version of a game coming out. That's exactly what the Old World Edition of Total War: WARHAMMER is set to be though.
This new edition is a repackaged version of the game, complete with additional content. There's a novella by Andy Hall included alongside he game, entitled The Prince of Altdorf, as well as a new race: the noble kingdom of Bretonnia will be part of the game.
The edition is set to release in February 2017 to entice new players to pick up the game. If you're already enjoying Sega's strategy title though, fret not, as the new race will be added for free to existing players for free alongside the launch of the new edition.
Sega explained a little more about the Bretons for those unfamiliar with the Warhammer Fantasy universe:
"A contrast of lowly peasant masses and proud knightly orders, the feudal kingdom of Bretonnia features a host of powerful units and is lead into battle by a choice of three playable Legendary Lords; King Louen Leoncoeur, Alberic of Bordeleaux and the Fay Enchantress. More details about this iconic Warhammer race will be revealed in the new year"
