Tomb Raider 2013 Was Supposed to Be a Horror Game

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Tomb Raider, a video was released on the official YouTube showing early footage of Tomb Raider: Ascension, which would later come to be the 2013 remake.

Tomb Raider: Ascension was meant to take Lara Croft deep into survival horror territory. It was through Ascension that the team homed in on telling the origin story through the lens of a survival.
