Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction Details
On the 11th of November, Ubisoft revealed that Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction (henceforth Extraction for ease of reading) will be releasing worldwide on the 20th of January, 2022. Additionally, players can already pre-order the Standard Edition for £33.99 and the Deluxe Edition for £41.99 which includes three bonus soundtracks. All pre-orders will also feature the Orbital Decay Cosmetic Bundle.
Extraction will also feature a cross-play Buddy Pass system, which will allow the players to invite up to two friends to play with them for free, even if they don't own a copy of the game. The game will also feature full cross-play, cross-save, and cross-progression on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, and Windows PC through the Ubisoft store. Players will also be able to subscribe to Ubisoft+ on PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna.
Each edition of Extraction will unlock two Buddy Pass tokens, which can be given to others that will allow them to play free for up to 14 days across most platforms. Once the two weeks have passed, if the player decides to buy the full version, all of their progression will transfer.
Gamers that own both Extraction and Rainbow Six Siege will receive the United Front bundle, which will contain four exclusive gearsets split between both games, and will instantly unlock Extraction's roster of 18 operators in Rainbow Six Siege.
Join the Rainbow Exogenous Analysis & Containment Team (REACT), assemble a one- to three-player squad, and select from the operators available in Rainbow Six Siege to face the Archæans—a mysterious race of alien creatures.
Progress through a custom levelling system for each of the 18 operators, and as they level up, permanently unlock new containment zones, operators, customisation options, new REACT tech, higher difficulties, in-game lore, and more.
