Titanfall Beta Will Not Require a Pre-Order

A few days ago news broke of an incoming Titanfall beta. The news was a confirmation of a leak made by a French retailer who are advertising a February 14th through 19th beta. According to them the beta will be exclusive to those who preordered Titanfall from Micromania in France and GameStop in the US.

However Respawn founder Vince Zampella has confirmed on Twitter that this is misinformation.

You will not need to have the game preordered to get in the beta. I'd give it to them first for supporting us if it were possible tho =)

There is still no word on how Respawn will handle beta invites, according to Zampella details are still to come.

Zampella also confirmed that, unlike the recent alpha, the upcoming beta will not be under an Non-Disclosure Agreement. This means we can expect to see some live streams coming up soon.

Titanfall is coming to Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC on 11th March.
