Tiny Death Star & Star Wars Assault Team Removed from App Stores
To apparently focus on the Clash of Clans-clone Star Wars Commander, both Tiny Death Star and Star Wars Assault Team have been removed from the mobile stores.
This was done suddenly, as apparently developer Nimblebit (of Tiny Tower and [of course] Tiny Death Star fame) were unaware of it before it happened.
With a revenue stream suddenly cut off, you could forgive Nimblebit some unkind words, but noe have been forthcoming.
As Star Wars Assault Team was developed by Disney Mobile, it was likely aware that it would be removed after a measly six months on the stores. However, Tiny Death Star had been on there for almost a full year, and as mentioned was developed by a different company - so it is unclear why Disney chose to remove both games, rather than just the more fledgling title.
If you have already installed one of the titles, you can reinstall any time you wish. However if you want to give the game a try - you're out of luck.
