Time-Twisting Shooter Quantum League Has Left Early Access
Time-looping multiplayer shooter Quantum League has leapt out of Early Access and is now available as a full release on Steam. The game, which utilises a brain-bending mechanic involving looping timelines and the ability to play alongside future and past versions of oneself, has also been expanded with a new map to mark the game's full release. Titled Nordic, the map throws players into a distinctly snowy environment, with multiple levels to enable intricate time-based strategies.
Developer Nimble Giant Entertainment has used the game's Early Access period of 11 months—it launched in May 2020—to add more arenas, game modes, customisation options and character-specific abilities, as well as to ensure proper balancing and improve the user experience.
To mark the game's full release, it has been discounted on Steam for the next week. Until the 22nd April, players can pick up Quantum League at a 50% discount.
Quantum League is out now on Steam. It is planned for release on Switch at a later date.
