The World's Best PES 2015 Players Gather In Berlin
For football fans, 6th June is already a significant date, namely the UEFA Champions League Final.
For fans of football of a more virtual variety, June 6th also marks the start (and end) of the PES World Finals. Just hours before the Champions League Final kicks off, the greatest PES 2015 players from Italy, Germany, France, the UK, Spain, Latin America and Asia will gather in front of Berlin’s iconic Brandenburg Gate and compete until someone is eventually crowned champion.
The tournament will follow a similar pattern to that of the UEFA Champions League, with initial group stages and then knock-out rounds. Each entrant has won their local official PES league and will head to Berlin with an eye on emerging victorious in what is certain to be a hard-fought competition.
There's more than just bragging rights at stake here, as the winner will receive a stunning prize package that includes tickets to that evening’s match and a share of over $20,000 worth of cash prizes. Moreover, the event will see the winners battling it out in a match taking place on the edge of the pitch that will play host to the actual UEFA Champions League Final that night.
The tournament will begin at 9 a.m. local time (CEST), with the final set to take place at approximately 6 p.m.
For those interested in following the matches, updates will be reported live via the Official PES League Twitter account (@PESLeagueUK) and official PES Twitter account (@officialpes) while certain matches, including the final, will be streamed live via the PES League Twitch Channel (www.twitch.tv/pesleague).
