The Wolf Among Us 2 Delayed Till 2019

Telltale Games announced this week that their anthology series based on the Fables comic book series, The Wolf Among Us, has been pushed back from late 2018 to 2019.

The series is set 20 years before the main events depicted in the Fables comics. In it, various characters from numerous fairy tales and folklore appear in the (obviously fictional) town of "Fabletown". You play as Bigby Wolf, investigating a murder and meeting many of these characters to quiz.

It has been four years since the original series ended, and since then Telltale have cut its staff by 25%, as well as releasing other series, such as Game of Thrones and Tales from the Borderlands.

Telltale also noted that; 

...we're committed to exploring new ways to tell our stories. Taking this extra time will allow us not only to focus on quality but also to experiment and iterate in order to craft something truly special.

What exactly this could mean is anyone's guess, but let's hope the next series is worth the wait.
