The Witcher 3's Second Playable Character Confirmed
CD Projekt Red have announced the second playable character for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt after hinting about it earlier this month.
The character has been confirmed as Ciri, who is an ashen-haired girl, descended from a long lost elven bloodline. CD Projekt Red have described her as being "crucial to the plot" and although you cannot switch to play as her at will, she will be a great benefit to the story.
The idea is that Ciri will be introduced during certain parts of the game to allow the player perspective from someone else's view besides Geralt's. Ciri is said to hold a great power which makes her a powerful living weapon, capable of healing or destroying the world. Her gameplay style is to be fast and agile and she is a great swordfighter as well.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set for release on May 19 on PS4, Xbox One and PC
