The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's Next-Gen Update Coming Soon

CD PROJEKT RED have announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition will release next month, 14th December 2022 to be exact, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Enhanced with the power of modern PC and console hardware in mind, the upcoming release of the hugely popular role-playing game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, will feature a boat load of enhancements over the original, including:

• Visual, performance, and technical upgrades
• Ray tracing support
• Faster loading times
• Integrated mods
• Additional content inspired by the Netflix series

These will be looked at in-depth next week in a dedicated REDstreams event on Twitch, where the studio will present gameplay from the latest version of the game.

If you already own the game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC, then good news — this will be a free next-gen update! If you've yet to play this masterpiece, the complete edition will be available digitally, as well as a physical edition releasing at a later date.

In addition to the next-gen release, the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will receive an update featuring several additions and improvements, as well as the Netflix Witcher-themed additional content.
