The Windows Version of Forza Enters Open Beta Soon
PC gamers waiting for their own rendition of the Forza Motorsport are in for a treat soon with the open beta of Forza Motorsport 6: Apex coming to Windows 10 PCs on the 5th May. Microsoft are hoping that this will be a reason for racing fans who haven't yet taken the plunge and upgraded to the DirectX 12 supporting operating system to do so. This is the first time for the series on the platform, but the developers are saying it's a first step in the future of the series as it expands into the PC arena.
With full support for the latest version of DirectX 12 and an inbuilt framerate counter, they're clearlyl thinking about what PC gamers want. There's wheel support, the ability to disable v-sync for thos wanting to get the highest FPS possible and a custom engine designed exclusively or the game.
Head over to ForzaMotorsport.net for full details on the open beta, including the new career mode, Spotlight Series, Xbox Wire achievements and Race Points system, in addition to optimal PC system requirements. Registration for the beta has yet to open, but will do so shortly on that very website.
