The Waylanders Advances Classes Sneak Peek

The Waylanders has been delayed due to the team behind it feeling that the game wasn't polished enough for a release this month. However, Gato Salvaje didn't leave us with only bad news, for they announced the Advanced Classes and left us with a sneak-peak.

The Advanced Classes will offer players the capability to customise their class with three sub-classes for each of the base ones available already in the Early Access.

After reaching the 9th level, the Advanced Classes mechanic will unlock, allowing the player to choose one of the new options to branch into. Each of the different sub-classes will offer a mix of warrior, magic-user, or rogue/ranged type abilities. This upgrade will also allow for a greater selection of Formations and formation abilities to choose from!

The Warrior class will feature:

• Berserker
• Gladiator
• Mana Warlord

The Guardian class will feature:

• Vanguard
• Blacksmith
• Chieftain

The Rogue class will feature:

• Brawler
• Assassin
• Storm Druid

The Ranger class will feature: 

• Hunter
• Saboteur
• Draconic Master

The Sorcerer class will feature:

• Frost Druid
• Pyromancer
• Necromancer

The Healer class will feature:

• Blood Shaman
• Jester
• Tidal Druid

Some companions, however, won't be able to have these classes and instead have special ones that they grow into. These companions are Traste, Rea, and Delba, each of which will develop into their own special class that enhances their playstyles.

All of these wonderful additions will make their way into the main game when it releases in spring of next year on the 2nd of February. What path will you take?
