The Walking Dead: Season 2 Reveal

Crack out the Kleenex and “there’s just something in my eye” excuse book, The Walking Dead is set to return.

Telltale Games has has been releasing teaser information for the follow-up to the first season of their hit game, The Walking Dead (which we really, really liked, by the way.) Promising “big news” earlier in the month, Telltale finally broke their silence on Season 2 by releasing a teaser trailer and several screenshots showing the new protagonist, a slightly older Clementine, in action.

The game is said to be set several months after Season 1 which would coincide with the events of the bonus episode 400 Days. No information regarding story details or a release date has been made available at this time, but in an AMA session on Reddit it has been confirmed that the game will be available for multiple platforms including the Xbox 360, PS3, PS Vita, PC, Mac, and Ouya. It’s also been confirmed for a PS4 and Xbox One release, although “not at launch.”

Aside from Clementine no other characters have been established, pre-existing or otherwise, although it’s a safe bet that some familiar faces will make an appearance. Telltale has promised that Kenny’s fate “will be explored,” and they've also advised fans to keep their save files from Season 1.

Following their usual pattern when it comes to release dates, Telltale Games promises that Season 2 will be available “soon.” Fans have also been assured that new episodes of The Wolf Among Us will be released alongside The Walking Dead.
