The Star Named EOS is Out Now! Check Out The Release Trailer Here!
From the developers of Behind the Frame, Silver Lining Studio has teamed up with the publisher, PLAYISM to release The Star Named EOS to the world.
If you enjoy hand-drawn puzzle games, then The Star Named EOS may be the game for you. Silver Lining Studio has described it as a story of family, memory, and discovering the beauty in life once you set out to find it. Weichen Lin, the game producer, can only hope that players will be reminded of their cherished relationships, and their memories of them when they play this.
In this game, you'll play as Dei, whose mother was often travelling whilst he was a child, and due to that, she would send him a photograph of where she visited. In one of these snapshots, Dei discovers something off, which leads him on an adventure where he must chart his own path as he is guided by the voice of his mother.
The voice of Dei's mother is brought to you by the talented voice actress, Suzie Yeung, who you may recognise from the Final Fantasy VII Remake series, as one Materia-obsessed ninja. Yeung has described The Star Named EOS as beautiful, immersive, and with charming music and visuals. She even said how she would love to wind down and play it after a long day, and how there was a lot of love placed into the collaborative process.
If you're interested in The Star Named EOS, it's available on Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, The Humble Store, Sonkwo & Heybox, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Across all platforms (except Nintendo Switch players in the Nintendo of Europe region) there will be a 10% discount, with the price returning to $14.99/£12.79 on the 29th of July.
