The Seventies Make a Comeback in Laser Disco Defenders

Retro styled schmup Laser Disco Defenders will be coming to Sony's flagship console next month. The game has already made its mark on Sony fans after coming from its original home on the PC to the PSVita, but the 15th of November marks the day that the disco-themed shooter makes the PS4 its new home.

Featuring an all-original disco soundtrack and an old school shooter feel, the game is set to trigger nostalgic memories in many. The levels are procedurally generated, to give a new feel every time you play. Unlike other shooters, you can do as much damage to yourself as computerised enemies due to the game's unique mechanics. Your lasers stay in the level, bouncing around the playfield, meaning you have to a void your own shots as well as those of your foes.
