The Rogue Prince of Persia Releases to Steam Early Access with New Launch Trailer

It's always a great time when we get a new Prince of Persia title, and fans of the franchise will be ecstatic to hear about the release of the newest Steam Early Access title, The Rogue Prince of Persia!

Starting off, this new title is being developed by Evil Empire, the team known for their incredible work in Dead Cells and its DLC. Evil Empire is responsible for a lot of the changes, balance adjustments, and new additions to the ever-famous indie roguelike. As such, fans of their work should know that the new The Rogue Prince of Persia will receive various updates leading up to the 1.0 release.

In its current state, The Rogue Prince of Persia currently has the following features, ensuring that there's a bit for everyone:

• Six biomes
• Eight main weapons
• Six tools
• Two boss encounters
• 30 trinkets

You'll be able to combine these in the experience, though more will be added, including levels, bosses, enemies, upgrades, and any recommendations that come from community feedback. The Game Director at Evil Empire had this to say in the press release:

I am extremely excited to show The Rogue Prince of Persia to the players, and I'm really looking forward to the game becoming not just ours, but a project between us and the community!

The Rogue Prince of Persia is out now on Steam Early Access and is expected to remain that way for about a year or until Evil Empire deems the game ready for full release.
