The Riftbreaker Announces AMD Partnership
EXOR Studios' upcoming base-building strategy survival game, The Riftbreaker, has recently announced a partnership with AMD and an array of upcoming AMD RDNA 2 optimised graphical improvements. With this partnership, the game will benefit from a range of graphical and AMD FidelityFX-specific features, including DirectX 12 support, raytracing, Variable Shading, Contrast Adaptive Sharpening and Variable Rate Shading. Check out all these features in The Riftbreaker's Radeon RX 6000 Partner Showcase above.
Combining base-building with action RPG gameplay and survival elements, all coated in a vibrant sci-fi aesthetic, The Riftbreaker looks to be a veritable 'Jack of All Trades' in terms of genre and gameplay style. So far, reports suggest that it pulls them all off, although the game is still in an alpha state, not available for the public access except via a demo on Steam.
We'll find out for sure how The Riftbreaker pans out when it releases in 2021 for PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (as well as current-gen consoles).
