The Revenant Prince - Developer Commentary Introduces Gameplay, Story and Features

Take a closer look at Nomina Games' upcoming retro RPG, The Revenant Prince, with the developer's latest commentary video. Exploring the game's story, protagonist, 8-bit RPG style gameplay and unique features, the commentary video sets out to introduce players to the features that set The Revenant Prince apart from the classic RPGs that inspired it.

Troy, the story's protagonist, is spared from death and sent on a time-bending quest to save the world and its population of vibrant and quirky characters. Guided by a mysterious voice with uncertain intentions, Troy will be forced into making decisions that decide the fate of the world, forever. 

With the ability to spare (or else slaughter) any monster fought in the game's turn-based battles, the combat system takes on an additional layer of depth that Nomina Games promises will have an impact on the game's story and world. Additionally, The Revenant Prince boasts are larger cast of unique characters than any classic RPG, and treating these characters differently will result in wildly different outcomes.

The Revenant Prince is set to release "this summer" on Steam.
