The Recently Released Hero Shooter CONCORD is Closing Down
Concord is a hero shooter developed by Firewalk Studios and published by PlayStation, where players could join the crew of the NorthStar and team up with friends online through cross-play. While it released on the 23rd of August, the team released a statement on the 3rd of September announcing the game's retirement from Steam. In total, it gathered 756 reviews and a score of Mixed (68% Positive).
In the news, the developer mentions their appreciation to everyone who joined their game and admits that while there are some things that resonate with the players, there are also some features that don't. Starting on the 6th of September, the game will go offline, and everyone who asks for a refund in the next few days will receive one, whether it's for PC or PlayStation.
Thankfully, it seems it isn't the end of the road for Concord, as the developer mentions that they are looking for options for the game. While there isn't any more information at the time, the post ends with a mention of upcoming updates.
