The Muppets Join Disney Speedstorm with Reveal for Newest Racer, Kermit the Frog

Disney Speedstorm's latest racer brings in a new franchise to the Disney-themed arcade racer! Revealed in a brand-new reveal trailer, Kermit the Frog is joining the race tracks... and he's bringing his banjo with him!

The short reveal trailer for the character shows off his new ride and the Unique Skill he'll bring with himself — the Banjo Connection! By using its normal activation, Kermit will play an energizing melody on his banjo, which generates boost fuel. If another racer gets close to Kermit, then the racer gets a small speed boost while Kermit the Frog gains a huge speed boost.

Meanwhile, by using the Banjo Connection's charged activation, Kermit will begin playing a calming melody on the banjo, which renders him invulnerable for a short amount of time. If an opponent gets close to him while he's invulnerable, their top speed will be reduced, while Kermit the Frog will gain an increased boost fuel generation!

He has great options both offensively and defensively, and he'll be a great addition to the roster. His appearance also is the first time The Muppets join Disney Speedstorm, which opens the possibility for a whole slew of other characters themed around the franchise!

Disney Speedstorm is out now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, the Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Windows store!
