The Maji Market is Live in Palia's Open Beta!

Palians all around the world can partake in the brand-new cosy MMO through its Open Beta available now, though everyone will also be able to participate in the first-ever event available from the game. The Maji Market makes a return to Kilima Village, as Mayor Kenli and his wife Eshe are giving this age-old tradition and see the results to evaluate whether it should become a recurring festival once again.

Located in the southeast part of the map, you can enter the new zone to join the Palians of your server in order to buy various goodies — including furniture, food, and fireworks — and participate in the ever-competitive Chapaa Chase. Starting at 6 pm Palia time, many of the residents of the village will participate with new lines of dialogue, a couple of quests from some of them, and shops that will be available until 3 am the following day.

The Chapaa Chase event starts at 12:10 am every day, where Palians will compete in a collection match where you'll embark on a quest to catch the chapaa that have escaped from their cage. Each chapaa is worth 10 tickets, and you'll have five minutes to get as many of them as you can so you can rack up tickets and buy event-exclusive items, which will require a total of 15,000+ tickets for you to complete your collection.

You can also use Gold, of which you'll need over 100,000, to get a slew of items and chase items added for the most hardcore players. Two plushies priced at 18,000 and 60,000 are made available for you to farm for, and fret not — you'll have just about a month to get them all, with the event running until the 26th of September, after which we'll see the Maji Market leave Kilima town briefly, as Singularity 6 has promised it (and its items) will return.
