The Lord Of The Rings: Return To Moria Release Date Revealed!

Many fans of The Lord of the Rings will remember Moria: the erstwhile home of Dwarves, now infested with vile Orcs and maybe even something more sinister. While the fellowship did pass through Dwarrodelf, the fate of the ancient kingdom and its secrets are not expanded upon. That is about to change as independent developer Free Range Games and publisher North Beach Games ready The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria for a late October release!

In the game, you will be able to create your own Dwarf to venture into the depths as a part of the company sent to reclaim the lost homeland and its treasures. Khazad-dûm is beyond perilous, requiring teamwork and preparation in order to survive. Go at it alone, or with friends, taking on the procedurally generated caverns while combating the goblins, arachnoids, and other terrors within! Rebuild the old forges, craft resilient arms and armour, brave the depths, and uncover what shadows lie beneath. Just keep an ear out for any drums.

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria will launch on 24th October for Windows PC via the Epic Game Store and PlayStation 5, and will release on Xbox Series X|S in early 2024.
