The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Announced for Switch

Nintendo has announced The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD will be coming to the Switch on the 16th July 2021. Check out the announcement above.

In lieu of news regarding Breath of the Wild 2 at today's Nintendo Direct stream, the company instead announced an HD remaster of Skyward Sword, the 2011 entry in the Legend of Zelda franchise. In addition to revamped graphics, this version of the game will also feature improved motion controls and (at long last) the option to play without motion controls at all. Controlling the sword will instead be done using the right analog stick.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD will release on the Switch on the 16th July 2021.
