The Legend of Zelda Monopoly is Real
Novelty Monopoly sets are nothing new. There's Batman, Disney Princesses, The Simpsons, The Muppets, Only Fools & Horses, Marvel Heroes, Sonic the Hedgehog (Editor: We get it!)... There are well over 500 different versions of Monopoly.
However, there were only a few based on videogames. Even if you counted the two Pokémon ones, actually based on the anime. Finally there is another one!
The Legend of Zelda Monopoly will arrive 15th September in America, with no other regions being announced yet.
It will be available on Amazon and at Gamestop for about $39.99.
Houses are Deku Sprouts and Hotels are Deku Trees, the money is Rupees, The Train Stations have been replaced by Epona, Loftwing, Spirit Train and King of Red Lions. The streets are now House of Gales, Minish Village, Hyrule Castle and Temple of Time - among many other LoZ locations.
The game tokens will be the Triforce, Hylian Shield, Bow & arrow, Slingshot, Hookshot and boomerang:
Gamestop will have it's own special edition without the slingshot, instead it will have the Ocarina of Time. It will also have several Power Cards, which will supplement the usual Empty Bottle (Chance) and Treasure Chest (Community Chest) cards.
The one thing we cannot grasp is: why is there Free Parking in a world that has never had a car?
