The Last of Us Remastered Gets PS4 Pro Update

Developer Naughty Dog have released an update for The last of Us Remastered and the standalone DLC, The Last of Us Remastered: Left behind. 

The focus for both these updates, patch 1.09 for the main game and 1.03 for its standalone counterpart, is a number of improvements for the experience on the PlayStation 4 Pro. New menu options will allow players to configure the game settings such as resolution, frame rate and even shadow quality. Players with a 4K display will of course get to see more of the benefits of this update but standard HD displays will also make use of supersampling to offer improved visual quality.

Additionally some fixes to the multiplayer mode of The last of Us Remastered were included in the update as well. The full patch notes can be read below.

• Modified PlayStation 4 Pro enhancements settings
• Added user options related to the PlayStation 4 Pro enhancement settings
• Multiplayer:
• Fixed an issue that could cause a player to aim downward inadvertently
• Fixed an exploit where players could throw a smoke bomb to get inside of level collision
