The Last Guardian Delayed - Yes, Again

In a blog post to the official PlayStation blogs (both EU and NA), Sony have announced that The Last Guardian is being delayed "by a few weeks".

Originally due for release on the PlayStation 3, the PlayStation 4 exclusive was due for release in October. However, the team have decided to it will take six more weeks to get it done. Originally being developed by the team behind ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, it is being finished up by JAPAN Studio and genDESIGN.

A delay is a difficult decision, particularly with this game, but we have encountered more bugs than anticipated while in the final stages of development. To ensure that The Last Guardian delivers on the experience that the game’s creators have envisioned, we need to take the extra time to work on those issues.

Our development continues to push itself to the fullest and we look forward to revealing new content towards the launch.

The Last Guardian is due out for PlayStation 4 on 6th December for North America, 7th in Europe and 9th in the UK.
