The Gunk is Out Now

The Gunk is a story-driven sci-fi exploration title, where players will take control of Rani, one of the members of the space-hauling duo, as she stumbles across a seemingly barren planet infested with a substance which they call "the gunk". Accompany Rani and her partner Becks as they wonder if their days of scrapping are numbered, and as they seek answers to questions such as what the gunk is, how it got there, what kind of world was this before its arrival, and what happened to its civilisation that has left behind only ruins?

Delve deep into rocky canyons, dense jungles, and deep subterranean caves as you scour the diverse alien world featured, as one of The Gunk's heaviest emphasis is based on exploration, and use Rani's upgradable goo-sucking power-glove to free the flourishing ecosystems that have been sunk under the destructive gunk.

Additionally, use Rani's scan ability to make new discoveries and learn more about the barren lands, as players will fill Rani's logbook with her findings and get clues about what's happened to the intriguing, gunk-infested planet.

The Gunk is out now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via the Xbox store.
