The Final Patch for Baldur's Gate III Is Here!

Welp, here we are. After a long stint in early access, seven patches, and more sneaky reloads than we dare admit, the final patch for Baldur's Gate III is now live! Adding in more subclasses, cross-play, trading cards, and more, this penultimate addition to the beloved RPG is sure leave an impression.

Starting off, patch 8 adds Baldur's Gate III to the hallowed ranks of "games with Steam Trading Cards", allowing you to collect iconic images of your favourite friends and foes. You can now also party up with your buddies, no matter which devices you use with the new Cross-Play feature!

For the budding photographer, the sparkling-new Photo Mode will allow you to eternalize those amazing rolls, those hilarious fails, or simply show off your rag-tag crew! Just press both analog sticks or smack the F9 key.

The final patch also gives us the final batch of (official) subclasses for your heroes to try out. The selection is as follows:

• Circle of Stars Druid
• Arcane Archer Fighter
• Way of the Drunken Master Monk
• Oath of the Crown Paladin
• Swarmkeeper Ranger

• Shadow Magic Sorcerer
• Hexblade Warlock
• Bladesinging Wizard

And finally, once you've had enough of everything else, the game's Modkit has also received a significant upgrade, allowing creators to fiddle with partial level editing! All of this new goodness is also followed by a great deal of fixes and improvements to the game itself.
