The Evolution of Evolve – Part 1: Asymmetric Multiplayer Design & Big Alpha

The first part of a five part series has been released detailing the creation of Evolve and the asymmetric multiplayer that is the focus of the game. In the video, host Adam Sessler talks to staff members from Turtle Rock Studios discussing the balancing of the game, multiplayer design and the experience of a group of hunters going up against a ferocious beast.

Speaking of the hunters and the monsters ,it looks like there will be a lot of class choices to be made when playing as the hunters that will ultimately reflect how well you do against the different monster types, allowing for a depth of tactics and play-styles. 

Also talked about in the video is the Big Alpha which will start on October 30 for Xbox One and October 31 for PS4 and PC, it will give players the chance to test out both Goliath and Kraken in the game whilst letting Turtle Rock Studios see how well the game fares for a lot of players.

Evolve is set to release on February 10 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
