The Escapists 2 Set To Break Out Next Month

The Escapists 2, the sequel to 2015's award winning sandbox prison-escape game from Mouldy Toof Studios finally has an official release date, and the developers are celebrating with a release date trailer and pre-order bonus.

Featuring ten unique themed prisons to escape from, a deep character creator, and new crafting and combat systems, The Escapists 2 promises for a wider variety of thrilling escapes. Additionally, for the first time in the series, drop in/drop out local and online play for up to four players will be offered, meaning you can pull off the perfect escape with your friends. 

Coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on 22nd of August and later to the Nintendo Switch, The Escapists 2 looks to build on the winning formula of the original game.
