The Elder Scrolls Online: Gates of Oblivion Cinematic Announcement Trailer
Bethesda Softworks’ Senior VP of Global Marketing and Comms, Pete Hines, joined Zenimax Studios on Twitch for this year's big chapter release for The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood, as well as details about the year-long adventure, Gates of Oblivion. Blackwood is 2021’s upcoming massive story chapter for The Elder Scrolls Online, tasking players with unravelling the schemes of the Daedric Prince Mehrunes Dagon, 800 years before the events of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Blackwood is set to launch on 1st June 2021, but until then, fans will be able to get their ESO fix come 8th March 2021, when the Flames of Ambition Dungeon DLC pack launches. This opens up a year-long roadmap with the Gates of Oblivion story and new dungeons that introduces players to the threat of Mehrunes Dagon and leads them directly into the events of Blackwood come June.
The Elder Scrolls Online is available on Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series launches in the pipeline, but no official release date on these.
