The Crimson Maid Is Coming To PC & Consoles Next Year
This week, developers GrimTalin and Darkania Works released a teaser trailer to their next title, The Crimson Maid. Teaming up again after their previous game, Last Days of Lazarus,
The story follows Marius, a priest in training who returns to his childhood home to see his deathly father Leon Rosenthal before his passing. Estranged from his family, Marius’ arrival to the mansion unravels a deeper conspiracy to Leon’s ailments and the family members who reside there. However, the new resident and employee, Irina, the maid of the home, begins to divert Marius’ focus; in many ways. But a murder shakes the foundations of the home, forcing Marius to investigate his family and Irina.
The Crimson Maid will take the player on a journey into romance, drama, and themes of death via dialogue with family and Irina, exploring the wide corners of the mansion, and solving puzzles and mysteries of events while Marius was away. To keep up with these revelations, Marius will have a journal which he puts all his thoughts into, as well as hints as to where to go and do.
See a glimpse of what’s in store for Marius and uncover the truth behind Leon’s illness and if Irina had anything to do with it as your choices will have consequences now. The Crimson Maid has a playable demo on Steam available now, with the full game releasing next year on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
