The Aliens Strike Back in Elite: Dangerous

It's been 11 months since the Thargoids began making themselves known in the space exploration game Elite: Dangerous, and a lot has happened.

It began with sightings, continued with watching them do something weird, before CMDRs (Commanders - players) found ways to destroy them. This seems to have culminated in what the above video shows - the Thargoids have attacked space stations.

The damage found inside one of the two damaged stations is chilling, and the stations are begging players to rescue the people still aboard. Players interested in taking part can head to one of the three affected stations: The Oracle (Pleiades Sector IR-W D1-55), Titan's Daughter (Taygeta) or Liman Legacy (HIP 16753).
