Techland Offers A Chance To Write Content For Dying Light

Techland has announced a new mission for the Dying Light DLC "The Following", and a way for their fans to write some content for it. The mission is set in an abandoned post office, and in an open letter on Facebook, they have appealed to their fans to write letters that never made it to the recipient. Should you be chosen your letter will be somewhere in the post office, along with your name and some sweet bragging rights.

“We've already seen what fans can do when creating awesome stuff for us,” says Dying Light producer Tymon Smektala, “so we found a cool little way to let them actually be a part of the story and have their efforts and names appear in our game forever. Just no dick pics please.”

There is still no release date for "The Following" as Techland are working on some major changes to the game, but this is a fun way to involve the fans in the DLC, and gives them something extra to look forward to.

So put yourself in the shoes of a survivor in the quarantine zone. Think of the horrors you've seen, or the brave feats you've accomplished and write a letter to Techland. Maybe you'll be included in the Dying Light canon.
