Team Play Rewarded in New Heroes & Generals Update
We all know what online gaming can be like. Sometimes your team works together, everything goes well and you storm through all objectives and trounce the opposition. Most of the time though, players do their own thing, ignore each other, scream at the rest of the team for being noobs and then ragequit just before your team is pulverised like a grape under the foot of a master winemaker. Reto-Moto know how annoying this is and they intend to fix it.
With 9 million registered players, there's a huge community in Heroes & Generals, and if victory is to happen, those players will need to work together. To encourange more co-operative gameplay, the developer are creating a new event that encourages more harmonious gameplay.
“We are aiming to make it both more fun and rewarding for soldiers to fight with their friends on the frontline,” says Jacob Andersen, Game Director at Reto-Moto. “As part of the update all maps have been improved to ensure a better gameflow and allow for more intense battles. Tweaks have been made to the animation system resulting in a smoother visual experience. And we have added more bicycles to the game.”
Soldiers in Heroes & Generals will now get XP bonuses for various assistance roles. These include assisting in a kill, protecting the team's tank and when teammates use their vehicle's weapons.
