TAPE: Unveil the Memories Announces Nintendo Switch Release Date

BlackChiliGoat Studio has announced that the award-winning puzzle mystery game TAPE: Unveil the Memories is coming to Nintendo Switch on the 14th of April 2023. Inspired by popular Stephen King stories, the narrative promises many twists and turns that will delight mysteries lovers as well as puzzle enthusiasts with a variety of original mechanics.

The Nintendo Switch announcement trailer begins with a mysterious VHS message left for our protagonist Iria from her father, a famous horror film director. According to him, if Iria is watching his message, he doesn’t have much time left. What happened to him? That’s what we need to find out. We then get gameplay footage showcasing dark twisting hallways, monstrous creatures, and most importantly, the camera Iria can use to influence the environment, moving items backwards and forwards, or stopping them completely in time. As you can tell from the trailer, this thrilling adventure bends the concept of reality as we explore Iria’s mind and memories, discovering secrets that will turn everything Iria thought she knew upside down.
