System 3 Bringing Constructor to Switch
Originally released in 1997, Constructor is having something of a resurgence lately, with a Steam re-release and console versions coming in 2017. As well as the announced PS4 and Xbox One, System 3 are set to bring the game to Nintendo's hybrid console and tablet in 2017 as part of the game's 20th anniversary celebrations.
“The drive and ambition to bring products to the world’s most dynamic gaming systems has stood System 3 in good stead over its 35-year existence. The Nintendo Switch is the latest example of hardware allowing us to bring our unique vision to the market. You’ll now be able to build and run your construction empire anywhere you like – you’ll never stop building!”, said Mark Cale, CEO of System 3.
The game will be available for Xbox One, PS4 and Steam on the 28th of February. Switch players will have to wait a little longer until the console's release on the third of March before getting their hands on Constructor in it's Nintendo form.
