SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream is Out Now; See the Launch Trailer Here!

Bandai Namco Entertainment have released SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream, the first large-scale, live-service, multiplayer adventure, and their most ambitious adaptation yet. 

Enter Alfheim Online, and explore the new system Galaxia, which will cause the worlds and timelines of SWORD ART ONLINE to merge, leaving protagonist, Kirito, and his friends, to fix it. As they enter unfamiliar territory, you'll find unlikely alliances and new challenges to help them survive this unsettling world.

With settings that you'll recognise from the SAO anime, you'll be able to enjoy an original story which features many of the fan-favourite characters you know and love. With a co-op experience that allows you to collaborate with teams of up to 20 players, you'll be able to team up to defeat bosses in raids, and all on cross-platform!

Of course, if you prefer a single player adventure, you'll be able to enjoy the offline mode, where you can relive the story and embark on a journey to fix the timeline. It's only online mode where you can create a party of up to 20 players, so you can play Co-Op Quest, Boss Raid, or Free Roam. Co-Op Quest features missions that players will need to work together to defeat a boss at the end. However, Free Roam will allow you to freely travel the world, and meet other players and enjoy the experience of meeting other players.

With three editions available: Standard Edition, Deluxe Digital Edition, and Digital Premium Edition, there are some great benefits in store. Both the Deluxe Digital and the Digital Premium include Character Pass Vol. 1, which allows access to DLC 1 and 2 upon their release, an exclusive stamp set, and the Prism Heart Costume Set. While the Digital Premium Edition also includes the digital artbook and soundtrack, a mini-game, and the Wild Joker Dress.
