SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream Gets New DLC; See the Trailer Here!

SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream's second DLC, The Devil's Comeback, launched on the 23rd of January, and with it, a brand-new Nintendo Switch demo. 

In the latest DLC of Fractured Daydream, the latest SWORD ART ONLINE videogame adaptation, players will gain access to the second volume of Character Pass, a new scenario, costumes, weapons, and much more.

In The Devil's Comeback scenario, players will follow Kirito, Sinon, LLENN, and Fukaziroh as they investigate the player kills happening in another area of Galaxia. Having been warned by the Cardinal of these occurrences, they meet two new characters: Pitohui and M, who first made their appearance in SWORD ART ONLINE Alternative: Gun Gale Online. 

For those unfamiliar, M is both a ranger and an excellent sniper, with an armoured shield that surrounds and protects him while shooting. Pitohui, meanwhile, is a veteran Gun Gale Online player, as well as a battle maniac. Not only is she a skilled and varied fighter, but she also excels in mid-range and close combat.

With the second volume of Character Pass, players will gain access to Bonus Stamp Set 2, and later, DLCs 3 and 4. With these DLCs, players will also get new characters and scenarios. So, look forward to the eventual additions of Philia and Sachi, and Mito and Cat Knight Alice respectively in future updates.

Elsewhere, Nintendo Switch players will be pleased to learn that they'll be able to try out a new demo, where they can have a go at SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream themselves, allowing you to try before you buy. In it, you'll be able to try Boss Raid and Co-op Quest, so you can join as part of a team of 20 to tackle a boss raid. Switch players can look forward to playing as Kirito, Asuna, Agil, Argo, Sinon, Oberon, Leafa, LLENN and Fukaziroh. Plus, any weapons and accessories can be carried over to the full game when you purchase it.

Currently, SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Nintendo Switch. The new DLC, The Devil's Comeback is also available now.
