Switch Fit is Coming, but Only for Children

Switch owners are slowly starting to see all the big franchises come to their console of choice. With Mario, Smash Brothers, Splatoon, and Mega Man all available on the device. There's been one big franchise that's been notable by its absence so far, and that's the Wii Fit series. Turns out, there's a very good reason for that.
See, the Wii fit board connected via the Wii remote, which isn't a thing with the Switch, and Nintendo weren't able to get the Joycon to fulfil that same function. This means that the tentatively-named Switch Fit will require you to put your entire console into the fitness board. The downside of this is that anybody over ten stone, meaning pretty much all adults, will be unable to use it for fear of cracking the screen.
The fitness game will instead form part of Nintendo's new Labo series of cardboard based games, with children making their own fitness board out of cardboard. There's also a skipping rope attachment, which is designed to pick up on some of the popularity of the skipping mini game in Super Mario Odyssey.
