Swiss Retailer Lists and Then Removes Assassin's Creed: Rogue
World of Games, a Swiss video game retailer, may have let the cat out of the bag on Ubisoft's Project Comet, their as of yet unannounced second game for 2014 which was leaked along with Unity back in March.
The retailer put up a listing for a game called Assassin's Creed: Rogue before quickly taking it down. The game is for last-gen consoles, which fits in with the little information we have on Project Comet. If World of Game's listing is both real and accurate, Rogue will share Unity's October 28th release date--a strange move that feels a little like Ubisoft competing with itself, although admittedly not on the same platforms.
Beyond the fact that it exists, there is little real information on Project Comet/Rogue out there for fans. Rumors from Gameblog and Kotaku claim that Project Comet is a direct sequel to Black Flag set in 1758 in colonial America (meaning it would overlap with the beginning of Assassin's Creed III), and will feature characters like Adewalé and Haytham Kenway. The main character of Comet is also rumored to be a sailor and templar named Shay.
