The platform aims to be the next big hub for game developers and customers with a focus on being the main store front for the games industry in Sweden. It will be a charity-driven store front which means that much like Humble Bundle, a cut of each sale would go towards local charities in Sweden. The company are looking to drive interest at the minute with a Kickstarter that is offering different bundles of games as the backer rewards.
For those of you who might not know Sweden is a busy hub for game developers and studios. They are even promising a LinkedIn style section of the platform to help aid in talent searching and recruitment for those in industry.
The Swedish Games Store is currently on Kickstarter with just over 10 days left at the time of writing to hit its funding goal. If you are interested in supporting the project and the developers already involved then head on over and check it out.
