Swash Your Buckles With the Flint: Treasure of Oblivion Reveal Trailer!

Pirates, along with mobsters, knights, samurai, and professional thieves, have been the target of romanticising fiction, painting these professions as noble-hearted souls or roguish do-gooders. However, the oft harsh truth is that these were people with all the faults, vices, and hardships that come with the territory. Pirates, especially, have a history of being portrayed as dashing heroes of the sea fighting against the tyranny of rules and mandates. Publisher Microids and developer Savage Level, however, are attempting to right this misconception with their upcoming title, Flint: Treasure of Oblivion.

Embark with the titular Captain Flint, along with his first mate, Billy Bones, and his crew of leathery sailors, in search of a treasure which could bring both wealth and freedom! The game features a narrative told via traditional comic strips set in a historically accurate pirating world. Take on foes in turn-based tactical combat with unique skills and a smidge of tactical card-playing action to turn the tide. When not fighting for your life, immerse yourself in the world while exploring locales such as the French city of Saint-Malo to the exotic landscapes of central America! 

Flint: Treasure of Oblivion is setting sail for a Q4 2024 release and will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
