SwarmVR Receives Release Date

Greensky Games has announced that its upcoming VR title SwarmVR will launch on Oculus platforms on the 8th April. Taking one look at the game's latest trailer (shown above) will leave anyone all but certain that it's a motion sickness nightmare waiting to happen, but the studio has assured players that it has taken every precaution to make the game's web-swinging, gun-shooting action as smooth and sickness-free as possible.

With vibrant cel-shaded graphics and visceral, gravity-defying action, SwarmVR is designed for quickfire play sessions. Packing in 25 highly replayable levels set across five zones, the game will see players swinging across open environments with a unique Smooth Grappling System (SGS), outmanoeuvring robot foes while blasting them away with high-powered pistols.

SwarmVR launches on Oculus platforms (with cross-buy support across Oculus Quest and Rift) on the 8th April. A Steam release is planned for summer 2021.
