Surviving the Aftermath Releasing on Switch

Developer Iceflake Studios has announced that its post-apocalyptic colony management sim, Surviving the Aftermath (currently in available on Steam Early Access, Epic Games Store Early Access and Xbox Game Preview), will launch on the Switch alongside Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions in spring of 2021.

This announcement came alongside a myriad of others in Nintendo's Direct Mini: Partner Showcase in October. Check out the trailer above.

Just like its predecessor, Surviving Mars, this upcoming entry promises a vast array of options for building and maintaining a society in the harshest of conditions. With over 80 colonist types, 61 building varieties and an entire defence gameplay system, there's a lot to manage and there will be some tough choices to make. After all, it's the apocalypse: there's never going to be quite enough to go around.

Surviving the Aftermath launches in spring 2021 for PC (via the Epic Games Store and Steam), PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch.
