Get ready to make the most of the apocalypse in Surviving the Aftermath, Iceflake Studios and Paradox Interactive's spiritual successor to Surviving Mars.

Set in the wake of global nuclear devastation, players will manage scarce resources, build a colony from the Earth's scraps and send out survivors to explore the ruins of civilisation. Careful planning and mastery of the game's systems will be crucial to survival, in such dire circumstances nothing can go to waste.

As an Early Access release, Surviving the Aftermath will be developed with community feedback in mind. Monthly content updates will ensure the game is constantly improving and growing in the best possible direction. Iceflake Studio's CEO, Lasse Liljedahl seems hopeful about the game future when he states: "Surviving the Aftermath is the game we've always wanted to make."

Already in this Early Access state, the game is proving its depth with 50 unique buildings; over 46 specialist survivors; a varied, procedurally generated world outside the colony and an array of surprising world events and encounters. Updates promise to bring expanded tech trees, combat between colonies and endgame content among many other additions.

Surviving the Aftermath is available in Early Access now on Xbox Game Preview and the Epic Games Store for a discounted price of $19.99 / £15.49 / €19.99.

Upon full release in 2020, the game will be available on Steam, Epic Game Store, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
