Super Rare Showcase: Tiny Garden
If you were young around the ‘90s and early 2000s, you may remember toys like Polly Pocket and Mighty Max. These tiny playthings were meant to be kept in your pocket, ready to be folded out into a dollhouse, evil lair, fantasy castle, or even battle arena! Although the parts were often lost mere moments after unboxing, we still loved making these minuscule mansions our own and showing them off during recess. If you find yourself reminiscing about better times or are fascinated by this foreign concept, Super Rare has you covered with its upcoming casual puzzle title, Tiny Garden!
In the game, you are given possession of the titular Tiny Garden, a small box with a crank that opens up into both a small plot of land and living quarters. With a handful of seeds, you slowly grow crops which you can then trade for more farming space, cosmetic items, decorations, and to expand your little home. There are no wrong choices here, so take your time and enjoy the journey.
Now, the puzzle element itself comes with the aforementioned crank. To grow your crops, you turn the crank, which progresses time within your magical pocket garden. By planning your crops and their positions properly, you can get a lot of value per turn, but be aware that different plants have different needs!
As you progress, you’ll unlock new decorations and furniture to make both your toy (the garden and house as a whole) and your living quarters your own! You may even unlock special letters with further puzzles to solve.
Tiny Gardens is also a unique game for Super Rare, as it will receive the very first DLC published by the studio! First off, you can expect the Supporter’s Pack, which adds some nice cosmetics for those who want to support the game, but a larger DLC is planned for Summer 2025, which will add some seasonal goodies!
You can start making room in your pockets for the release of Tiny Garden, coming 8th April!
