Super Meat Boy is Coming to PlayStation
Star of Indie Game: The Movie, Super Meat Boy, the hard as hell Xbox Live platformer is finally coming to PS4 and PS Vita.
What's more, Tommy Refenes and Edmund McMillen, the game's developers revealed that Super Meat Boy would launch as a PS Plus title, meaning you can get it for absolutely free, providing you pay for the PS Plus Subscription.
"When Super Meat Boy was launched, Team Meat wasn’t allowed to bring it to PS3 for very complicated reasons. They hated that they had to alienate the loyal PlayStation fans who desperately wanted the game but couldn’t have it"
"Fast forward to today. We walked that arduous path and with a lot of hard work, a little convincing, and huge scoops of luck we are now here today with huge smiles on our faces"
- Tommy Refenes, Super Meat Boy creator
Super Meat Boy launched back in 2010 on Xbox Live Arcade was later rolled out onto Windows and Mac platforms.
The platformer, which sees you guide a blob of meat through various levels and obstacles, is renowned for it's NES-like difficulty and addictive replayability.
