Super Meat Boy Comes to Wii U
With the NX just round the corner, Nintendo don't have too many big titles left to come out on the Wii U. However, one upcoming title that's sure to raise a smile is Super Meat Boy. It may be something of an older game now, having been originally released in 2010, but it's a hugely popular game, selling over a million copies and gaining near-universally high review scores. Including a coveted 8/10 on this very site.
Thanks to some very hard work from BlitWorks, the game has been ported in full quality to the Wii U, with support for off-screen play, meaning that you can play it without having to tie up the TV. As well as full support for the Wii U's tablet controller, it will also have its own Miiverse community, where you can connect with other omnivorous adventurers and swap notes.
The game is available on the Nintendo store for $14 / £13 / €14 and comes with a 20% discount from its launch on the 12th of May until the 26th May. If you've not already got it on another system, or you just want to play it on the Wii U's unique controller, then you could do a lot worse than picking up a copy of this modern indie classic.
